The property includes an outdoor arena that is currently in operation - most notably for barrell racing and roping events. There is an adjacent area with electricity, water and gas that is perfect for entertaining.

Just a mile up the road is the Lincoln National Forest, which gives entry to the entire Capitan mountain range both east and west. If winter sports are your thing, the Ski Apache resort on the Sierra Blancas is just a 30 minute drive away. 

Wild game, including elk, deer, antelope and turkey have long called Ranchos de Caballos home. Some of the most prolific bull elk in the country can be seen grazing upon the high ridge of the property. Unlimited over-the-counter private land Elk licenses are available to hunt the Rancho de Caballos 680 acres during season.
